Kontakt partnered with John Deere to energize booth engagement at a major industry trade show through a mobile-first experience designed to gather lead data, entertain attendees, and build post-event brand interaction. The goal: capture qualified leads while making the experience memorable, rewarding, and shareable.

Attendees were prompted to text a keyword to a short-code displayed prominently throughout the trade show space. Upon entry, they completed a short branded survey directly on their mobile device. After submission, they were instantly rewarded with a digital scratcher game offering a chance to win prizes. Winners were notified on the spot, while non-winners received follow-up messaging with exclusive offers or consolation incentives—keeping them engaged beyond the initial interaction.

 

 

UX: We built a seamless user flow that combined data capture with a rewarding gamified experience. The short survey led directly to instant interaction, ensuring a high completion rate and low drop-off by maintaining momentum and user interest.

UI: The mobile interface delivered a smooth, responsive scratch-to-win experience, using intuitive gestures, vibrant John Deere branding, and fast-loading animations to ensure appeal across all device types.

Strategy: The activation layered multiple points of brand engagement—data capture, gamification, and content sharing—into one cohesive journey. Social sharing, demo scheduling, and exclusive post-event offers turned a single touchpoint into a multi-phase brand relationship.

Campaign Dashboard: A custom dashboard provided real-time visibility into campaign performance, including total survey completions, scratcher engagements, prize distribution, and post-event interactions—arming the John Deere team with actionable insights and lead intelligence.
