Deliverables

UX/UI/Prize Engine

Kontakt was engaged by HP to amplify foot traffic and engagement at their trade show booth, creating a mobile-first experience that bridged digital interaction with on-site participation. The goal: attract qualified attendees through a playful, tech-forward activation.

The campaign invited convention-goers to text-to-play via targeted social media promotions prior to and during the event. Upon texting in, participants received a personalized mobile game link featuring an instant-win mechanic. To reveal their potential prize, users were directed to visit HP’s booth at the convention—transforming digital engagement into physical booth traffic.

UX: We crafted a smooth and responsive journey that guided users from mobile trigger to on-site reward reveal, using familiar gestures and behavior patterns optimized for fast-paced, on-the-go interactions typical of trade show attendees.

UI: The game interface featured large interactive elements, branded visuals, and fast-loading animations—all tailored for mobile devices and convention center connectivity constraints, ensuring easy play and instant gratification.

Strategy: By combining social triggers with a redemption moment at the booth, we created a loop that pulled users from digital channels into real-world engagement. The prize mechanic added urgency and curiosity, converting impressions into measurable booth visits.

Campaign Dashboard: A custom analytics dashboard tracked traffic in real time, including total plays, conversion from play to visit, prize distribution, and booth redemption data—empowering HP’s marketing team with insights during and after the event.
